La zone humide de Santa Maria reprend vie avec les Flamants roses
La nature, favorisée par les pluies hivernales, a réagi immédiatement : le 25 avril , 21 flamants roses (Phoenicopterus roseus) étaient signalés dans la mare de Santa Maria ; on n’avait pas vu de flamant rose à Paros depuis les années 80 !
The Santa Maria wetland comes back to life with flamingos
Nature, favoured by the winter rains, reacted immediately: on April 25th, 21 greater flamingos (Phoenicopterus roseus) were spotted in the Santa Maria pond. Flamingos hadn’t been seen in Paros since the 1980s!

Η φύση, ευνοημένη από τις χειμερινές βροχοπτώσεις, αντέδρασε γρήγορα: στις 25 Απριλίου καταγράφηκαν 21 φλαμίνγκο (Phoenicopterus roseus) στη λιμνούλα της Σάντα Μαρίας. Φλαμίνγκο είχαν να εμφανιστούν στην Πάρο από τη δεκαετία του 1980!
Δεσποτικό: Αρχαιολογικές εργασίες και εργασίες αποκατάστασης 2025
Απέναντι από την Αντίπαρο βρίσκεται το Δεσποτικό, ένα ακατοίκητο νησί που κρύβει ένα από τα σημαντικότερα αρχαϊκά ιερά των Κυκλάδων. Η ανασκαφική περίοδος του 2025 φέρνει στο φως νέα ευρήματα από τη νησίδα Τσιμηντήρι και σηματοδοτεί την ολοκλήρωση της αποκατάστασης του Κτηρίου Δ, ένα ακόμη βήμα για την αναβίωση του αρχαίου ιερού του Απόλλωνα.

Face à Antiparos s’étend Despotiko, une île inhabitée qui abrite l’un des sanctuaires archaïques les plus remarquables des Cyclades. La campagne 2025 livre de nouvelles découvertes sur l’îlot de Tsimintiri et marque l’achèvement quasi complet de la restauration du Bâtiment D — une étape de plus vers la renaissance de l’antique sanctuaire d’Apollon.
Despotiko: Archaeological and Restoration Works 2025
Opposite Antiparos lies Despotiko, an uninhabited island hiding one of the Cyclades’ most remarkable Archaic sanctuaries. The 2025 season brings new finds from the islet of Tsimintiri and marks the near-completion of Building D’s restoration — another step toward reviving Apollo’s ancient sanctuary.
