After the Ministry of Economy released a communication regarding the anticipated alterations to the laws governing concessions on the beaches, the Friends of Paros & Antiparos, alongside four other associations, have released a press statement outlining our basic principles which are non-negotiable.

We are excited to announce our participation in a new network that connects Cycladic islands facing common challenges. This network aims to share experiences and solutions that benefit all involved communities.
Notes about the new airport
The construction is currently in progress, with anticipated completion by the summer season of 2025. There are concerns that the project’s justification as a ‘safety’ measure may not align with EC funding regulations.
