Summer Actions

Οι δραστηριότητες των Φίλων της Πάρου το περασμένο καλοκαίρι  επικεντρώθηκαν ιδιαίτερα στην υποστήριξη της αρχαιολογικής κληρονομιάς της Πάρου:

• η ετήσια εκδήλωση αφιερώθηκε στον αρχαιολόγο Γιάννο Κουράγιο
• δημιουργήθηκε μια επιτροπή αρχαιολογίας με στόχο την συνεργασία με την κοινωνία της Πάρου για την  αξιοποίηση των αρχαιολογικών τόπων  και την προώθηση εκστρατειών για τη συγκέντρωση πόρων για την αποκατάσταση δύο τόπων που θεωρούνται ως προτεραιότητα: το αρχαίο νεκροταφείο και το Δεσποτικό.
• διοργανώθηκαν 2 εκδηλώσεις, μια περιήγηση στο Δεσποτικό και μια δημοπρασία που απέφεραν ένα σημαντικό ποσό που χρηματοδότησε την αναστήλωσή του 4^ο κίονα του Ναού και του Εστιατορίου του Ιερού του Απόλλωνα.

Les activités des Amis de Paros l'été dernier ont été particulièrement centrées sur le soutien au patrimoine archéologique de Paros:

• la cérémonie annuelle était dédiée à l'archéologue Yiannos Kouragios
• une commission archéologique a été créé qui, en collaboration avec la société de Paros, œuvrera pour la mise en valeur des sites archéologiques et la récolte de fonds pour la restauration de deux sites considérés comme prioritaires: l'ancien cimetière et Despotiko.
• deux évènements ont été organisés, une visite guidée du site de Despotiko et une vente aux enchères, qui ont générés une somme suffisante pour la restauration de la 4ème colonne du Temple et Estiatorio du sanctuaire d'Apollon.

The activities of the Friends of Paros last summer have been particularly focused on supporting the archaeological heritage of Paros:

• the annual ceremony was dedicated to archaeologist Yiannos Kouragios
• an archaeological commission has been created which, in collaboration with the society of Paros, will work for the enhancement of archaeological sites and fundraising for the restoration of two sites considered as priority: the old cemetery and Despotiko.
• two events were organized, a guided tour of the Despotiko site and an auction, which generated a sufficient sum for the restoration of the 4th column of the Temple and Estiatorio of the sanctuary of Apollo.
