- A successful collaboration with the Archaeological Institute to develop their digital presence.
- The impactful information and sensitisation campaign in Naoussa and Parikia schools about the Archaeological Park in Marathi.
- Our indispensable support to the archaeological excavations at Despotiko, both financially and operationally.
- The successful fundraiser resulted in procuring three vital medical chairs for the Parikia Public Health Centre.
- The regular publication and dissemination of our printed and digital Bulletin, expanding our reach and engagement with a wider audience.
- Our constructive participation in a seminar on sustainable development held in May in Parikia.
- Our determined advocacy for responsible development in Paros.
- Our uncompromising support for the Marathi non-profit organisation and its commendable work in creating an Archaeological Park.
- The presentation of the second volume of the ‘Friends of Paros and Antiparos’ collection, with captivating images by François Jean.
Moreover, we are excited to reveal our forthcoming projects designed to enhance the cultural, historical, and communal experience of Paros and Antiparos:
- The release of our 26th Bulletin, filled with interesting insights and updates.
- A distinctive exhibition featuring drawings by Stelios Ghikas, which will also adorn the pages of our upcoming third volume on the monasteries of Paros.
- A captivating evening on July 13 showcasing the astounding work of Yanos Kourayos and his team at Despotiko.
- Organizing immersive visits to the historical sites of Marathi and Despotiko on July 14.
- Facilitating a community-wide meeting with the Marathi non-profit organisation on July 27, interspersed with another appealing visit to the archaeological site.
- Georges Pittas’ new book “Paros: Place – Food Culture – Gastronomy” will be presented at the end of July.
- Our highly anticipated annual general meeting this August.
- Exploring ways to host a ceremony that encourages and supports community participation.
- Preparations for a grand ceremony to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our beloved association.
