L’AMKE “Parc des anciennes carrières de marbre de Paros” a tenu son assemblée générale annuelle le vendredi 6 juin 2025, à 19h00, dans la cour de l’ancienne école primaire Marathi.

Η υπερδόμηση, η βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη και η σημασία της κυκλαδικής ταυτότητας του νησιού είναι πλέον θέματα που γίνονται ολοένα και περισσότερο αντιληπτά από την κοινωνία. Αυτά τα θέματα έχουν εισβάλει στην παραδοσιακή πολιτική σκηνή, ιδιαίτερα στον εκλογικό σχεδιασμό. Αυτή είναι μια θετική εξέλιξη, αλλά μόλις τώρα αρχίζει.

La surconstruction, le développement durable, l’importance de l’identité Cycladique de l’île sont devenus maintenant des sujets mieux perçus par la société. Ces sujets ont envahi le champs politique classique, notamment au niveau électoral. Il s’agit d’une évolution positive qui n’est toutefois qu’à ces débuts.
Protecting the Cycladic character of Paros requires citizen mobilisation and a strong public commitment
Overbuilding, sustainable development and the importance of the island’s Cycladic identity are now better understood by society. These issues have entered the mainstream political arena, particularly at the electoral level. This is a positive development, but it is still in its infancy.

Other initiatives include supporting archaeological excavations at Despotiko, advancing the establishment of an archaeological park at the ancient marble quarries of Marathi, and expanding cultural and editorial projects, such as a trilingual book on the Byzantine heritage of Paros.
