Our association’s general assembly held its annual meeting on 22nd August, which approved the financial reports and discharged the outgoing board. It also took note of the current budget guidelines for 2025.
The assembly re-elected the same Board of Directors, with the same responsibilities. Finally, eight areas of action were defined for the next two years, which you will find below.
- Continuation of our editorial, cultural and community activities.
- Improvement of our membership and supporters list; increasing from 155 members today to 200 by 2026.
- Deepening our efforts regarding actions related to the vineyard.
- Taking action for archaeological initiatives (Marathi, Despotiko, Archaeological Museums, etc.).
- Campaign against excessive construction (e.g., Kolimbithres).
- Campaign addressing noise pollution.
- Contributing to the public debate on the expansion of the airport.
- Miscellaneous, depending on current developments.
