The General Development Plan (known as “GPS”) was at last approved and came into effect on 02.05.2012. It provides for 10 special protection areas and stricter regulations for development outside the approved town plan areas. Its provisions concerning extensions to town plans require the preparation of “implementation acts” and may take many years before they come into effect. We are publishing the text and map of the GPS as there has been practically no publicity from the authorities.
