Last weekend, a discussion forum focused on the new Local Urban Plan for Paros was held. The event took place in Ageria on Saturday and Naoussa on Sunday.
The main speakers included:
- Maria Karamanof, Vice-President of the Council of State and President of the Chamber of Environment and Sustainability
- Eleni Maistrou, Architect and Professor Emeritus at the National Technical University of Athens, Chairman of the Architectural Heritage Council of the Hellenic Society for Environment and Culture (ELLET)
- Monika Themou, Urban Planner, Vice President of the Institutional Framework Council of the Hellenic Society for Environment and Culture (ELLET)
The event was organised by the Chamber of Environment and Sustainable Development, the Hellenic Society for the Environment and Cultural Heritage (ELLET), the Paros Citizens’ Movement and four local associations, including the Friends of Paros and Antiparos.
A similar event will be held soon in Parikia.
