Among the series of proposals made by the Friends of Paros and Antiparos to the new mayor and the associations are two that will be implemented shortly.
The first involves a joint campaign with associations and the Municipality to encourage the foreign population living on Paros to register to vote and, beyond that, to take part in the municipal and European elections.
The second, also in conjunction with the Municipality, is to organise an annual consultation of people visiting Paros (whether Greek or not) in order to identify and better understand their needs, including for information. The creation of a digital platform offering the possibility of consultation/cooperation/proposals would be of great use to the Municipality.

Paros must be collecting huge revenues from the DIMOTIKA TELI of all the new properties- why is this not being spent on hiring staff to deal with the shameful mounds of rubbish. And to save PAWS which is facing shutdown after 25 years.
