A. 2022-2023 Activity Report proposed by the Board of Directors

1. 125 paid-up members, thousands of supporters, several board meetings held….
2. Significant editorial activity (several books and paper plus electronic newsletters reporting on our activities, positions and analyses).
3. Essential actions, including awareness-raising for the ancient marble quarries of Marathi and Despotiko.
4. Collaboration with other associations and support for their activities and actions, such as the citizens’ movement for preserving and accessing the beaches.
5. Multiple funding initiatives as for Archilochos, AMKE, the Archaeological Institute, Health Centre and the Paros Photographers’ association.

B. Indicative outlook for 2023-2024 proposed by the Board of Directors

1. Grow from 125 to 150 members
2. Publish 2 Bulletins
3. Support the work of AMKE MARATHI (ancient marble quarries and Despotiko ) 4. Participate in sustainable development seminars
4. Participate in sustainable development seminars
5. Support the citizens’ movement for respect for the law
6. Publish 3 books
7. Support the activities of associations such as the Paros photographers’ association.
8. Re-organize an annual ceremony, for example to honor those who collect rubbish and take the opportunity to discuss waste management.
9. Organize theatrical workshops with Sevastikoglou
10. Launch fund-raising appeals to support various activities: EPAPSI, health center, etc

C. Nominations for election to the next Board of Directors: deadline 22 August, 2 p.m.

Candidates must be in good standing with their membership.
